Transition to a new network

TAPACOM is currently in the process of relocating its servers to new networks. You may experience some periods of difficulty reaching web sites and network services. The transition period is expected to last until March 20, 2011.

WordPress releases Thelonius (WordPress 3.0)

FTP server upgraded

The TAPACOM FTP server has been upgraded to the latest version of Rumpus. New Features Added: File Search Allow users to search for files by name or content. Guest Transfers Send files to “guest” users, without having to create user accounts for one-time transfers.  Guest uploads are supported, too. FTP server upgraded

FTP access has been restored with an upgrade to the latest version of Rumpus. This change allows users the ability to connect to the server via the web browser (Web File Manager) and via WebDAV in addition to traditional FTP client applications If you have any questions or find any problems please report them to me right away.

FTP access switched off temporarily

FTP access to the server has been temporarily switched off. Some maintenance will be done on the FTP service and access should be restored by October 19, 2009. If there are any files that need to uploaded contact me at 808-550-8554 or send email.

Security advisory for WordPress clients

A new worm has surfaced which attacks a vulnerability in older versions of WordPress. Clients who are using the WordPress system are advised to update to the latest version, 2.8.4, immediately. Summary Reports upgraded

The Summary application has been upgraded to the latest version. It includes a number of fixes and additions. The reports have been checked and the application appears to function as before. Holiday Schedule

WordPress 2.8.3 update fixes RSS security issue

Clients are advised to update their WordPress installations to 2.8.3 as soon as possible. This latest release fixes a reported RSS security issue missed in the 2.8.2 release. More information about this here. If you have any questions on this update please contact me.
